Meet up
So everyone feels comfortable and accustomed to each other, we’ll have a quick call to discuss things and plan everything out.

Picture time
The big day! We’ll meet, talk, connect, and get to know each other. In the meantime, I will be preparing the equipment so we can jump right into it.
04.
Delivering photos
In one or two weeks, you will receive your edited pictures, to see yourself in all your natural glory.
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
The most important thing is to relax and be comfortable during the photoshoot. Remember, this is a fun and exciting experience, so just be yourself and let your personality shine. As your photographer, I'll be there to guide you and capture the best moments. Trust my expertise and feel free to ask any questions or share any ideas you have. Together, we'll create stunning photos you'll love.
What should I wear?
Take some time to plan your outfits in advance. Choose outfits that make you feel confident and reflect your personal style. It's a good idea to bring a few different options to the shoot, so we can mix and match to find the perfect look.
How many pictures will I receive?
Every session ranges from 20 - 150 photos depending on how big the group is.
Are you available outside of Los Angeles?
Absolutely! While I'm based in Los Angeles, I'm available for photoshoots outside of the city as well. Whether you're located in a nearby area or even in a different region, I'm more than willing to discuss the details and see how we can make it work. Just let me know your location, and we can explore the possibilities together. I'm excited to capture beautiful moments with you and your furry loved ones, no matter where you are!
Do you work with pets that have minimal training or is a puppy?
Certainly! I have experience working with pets of all ages and levels of training, including puppies and animals with minimal training. The safety and well-being of your pet are of utmost importance to me during our photoshoot.
When working with puppies or pets that have minimal training, it's important to take extra precautions to ensure their safety. Here are some steps I take:
Patience and understanding: I understand that puppies and pets with minimal training may require more patience and understanding. I take the time to get to know your pet, establish trust, and work at their pace.
Treats and positive reinforcement: I use positive reinforcement techniques and reward your pet with treats and praise to encourage desired behaviors during the photoshoot. This helps create a positive and enjoyable experience for them.
Leash or harness: Depending on the location and the behavior of your pet, I may recommend using a leash or harness to ensure their safety and prevent them from wandering off. This will allow us to capture beautiful moments while keeping them secure. Most equiptment I can photoshop out. I'll be asking you to hold the leash a certain way to make it easy.
Comfort breaks: I understand that pets, especially puppies, may need frequent breaks for rest, water, and bathroom breaks. I factor in these breaks during the session to ensure your pet remains comfortable and happy throughout.
Are there any additional fees to download my photos?
No, there are no additional fees for downloading your photos. The pricing structures listed above include post-processing time, and your gallery will contain full-sized, unwatermarked photo files ready for you to download for free.
Do I need to put down a deposit to book a session?
No, I do not require a deposit or a contract for the sessions listed on this page. Once we agree on a date, location, and time, your session is booked in my calendar.
How do we handle the payment stuff?
Payment is flexible and convenient for you. You can bring payment to our photo shoot, or I'll send over an invoice after I load and share your gallery with you. I accept payment via cash, check, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle, or credit card (via PayPal, with a 3% fee).
Where can we have our session?
The location is entirely up to you! While I'm based in Agoura Hills and familiar with many beautiful spots here, I'm open to your preferences. Whether it's one of my favorite shoot locations or a unique spot you have in mind, I'm all in. From family camping trips to ice cream shops, I love exploring new and unique places for photo sessions.
What time of day works best for our session?
For outdoor sessions, I prefer shooting as close to sunset or sunrise as possible (golden hour!), typically starting about an hour before the sun rises or sets. For home sessions, any time of day works well, utilizing natural window light for a soft side-light source.
Can I order prints from my gallery?
Yes! You can easily order high-quality prints directly from the gallery using the Pixieset service. Alternatively, you're welcome to download the high-resolution files and order prints through a third-party printing service. Your photos are yours to use as you wish—print, share, post, or email to your heart's content!
How many folks can join in our shoot?
Your session fee covers up to 8 people. Any number of people exceeding 8 adds a $100 fee to the session.
Do you do any fancy editing like Photoshop?
I enhance your photos in Lightroom, improving color balance, exposure, shadows, and clarity, and adding stylistic touches. I may spot-remove blemishes if needed and lightly smooth skin for close-up portraits, ensuring you look your best while still reflecting your true self.
